Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Assessor to join our team in providing crisis intervention services. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing and evaluating patients in crisis situations, providing support and guidance to individuals and families. The successful candidate must be experienced in completing Clinical Service Authorizations, Community Stabilization clients/participants of service. Full time and part time Assessors will be paid by each approved assesstment with additional pay by tier.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in crisis, including behavioral observations, individual and group counseling sessions, and patient interviews
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and clinical judgment
- Provide crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing mental health crises
- Candidate must be available to complete assessments as needed and must be excellent at meeting deadlines
- Provide clinical counseling and support to patients and their families
Requirements:
- Must be an LMHP or License-Type as deemed by the Board of Health and Counseling Professions.
- Must be knowledgeable of DMAS and DBHDS regulations and DMAS MCO providers across the network.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
-Master’s degree in human services (counseling, psychology, social work). The degree must be from an accredited college or university.
-Must be able to pass DBHDS criminal background check and Central Registry Checks.
-Must be Tuberculosis free
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
